Islamabad Drag Night Kicks Off With Sub-12 Second Runs

By Speed Syndicate

The F-9 Park Race Strip witnessed electrifying speeds as modified JDM legends tore down the quarter-mile under floodlights.

The cool night air at the Islamabad track made for perfect drag racing conditions last Friday. Drivers from across the country gathered for the highly anticipated Spring Drag Night, drawing a massive, roaring crowd.

Traction was the name of the game. Heavily modified Nissan GT-Rs, Toyota Supras, and aggressive AWD launch monsters dominated the staging lanes. Saad Hussain's heavily tuned GT-R was unmatched, crossing the quarter-mile traps in a blistering 11.2 seconds.

"We tweaked the launch control settings just hours before the event. I knew if the tires hooked on the prep, we'd see a low 11," Saad said post-race.

RASE's professional-grade laser sensors captured every millisecond, providing drivers with crucial 60-foot splits and trap speeds directly to their mobile devices.
