Cholistan Desert Rally 2026: The Ultimate Endurance Test

Pakistan's premier off-road motorsport event is gearing up to be the most challenging yet, navigating 500 kilometers of brutal sand dunes and dirt tracks.
The Cholistan Desert Rally is set to return bigger and tougher than ever. Known as the crown jewel of Pakistani rally racing, the grueling multi-day off-road competition will see over 100 drivers battle the unforgiving terrain of the Cholistan desert.
This year's route has been extended heavily, testing vehicle endurance and driver stamina to the absolute limit. Specialized rally buggies, 4x4 trucks, and heavily modified rally-spec SUVs are currently undergoing final shakedowns.
"The dust, the heat, the navigation—Cholistan is ruthless," noted veteran rally winner Nadir Magsi. "You don't just race against the clock here; you race to survive the desert."
The event will also feature expanded precision timing checkpoints managed by RASE technology, ensuring real-time split tracking for spectators globally.
